The system of measurement we use in the United States is called the Customary System. In the Customary System, we measure length, width, volume, and weight. Many units can be used with these attributes, and they are all made up of other units. To understand these better, you need to know the conversions.Also, remember these rules: To change to a larger unit, divide. To change to a smaller unit, multiply. Here are many common conversions:
